UP West discom to buy 50 transformers

Lucknow, June 20, (KNN) The Pashchimanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam, a power distribution company catering to the Western Uttar Pradesh today invited bids for purchase of 50 transformers which will be used for 33 KV transmission line between Bhikkawala to Afzalgarh in Bijnor.
 
According to the bids document, the process of procurement will include safe carriage of the transmission equipment including loading and unloading at both ends of the 90Kms line.
 
It will also cover loading, safe carriage and unloading of heavy stock material.
 
Paschimanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam limited is a subsidiary company of Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited.
 
The discom covers in its jurisdiction the areas of District Meerut, Baghpat, Ghaziabad, Gutambudh Nagar, Bulandshahar, Muzaffarnagar, Saharanpur, Bijnor, Moradabad, J P Nagar and Rampur.
 
The discom comprises three distribution zones based at Meerut, Saharanpur and Moradabad and each is headed by and officer of the rank of Chief Engineer. (KNN)
