Use prevailing conducive environment for industrial development, venture into the entrepreneurship: AP Govt to youngsters

Amravati, June 23 (KNN) Andhra Pradesh Government has highlighted the need for more and more MSMEs to come forward from the district which had huge potential for industrial development.

According to a media report, during the International MSME Day Celebration at Kakinada in Andhra Pradesh, as many as 16 entrepreneurs have come forward to set up micro, small and medium industrial units with an investment of Rs 25 crore and an assurance of creating 525 jobs in East Godavari district.

The District Industries Centre has offered them various sops based on the nature of the industry and the socio-economic conditions of the entrepreneur.

The Chief Guest at the event, Home Minister N. Chinnarajappa, said there is no dearth of land and water and the government is keen on developing infrastructure such as roads and ensuring uninterrupted power supply to all industries.

He asked the youngsters to make use of the prevailing conducive environment for industrial development and venture into the entrepreneurship.

He further said the State government was keen on attracting foreign investment and that was the reason why Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu was visiting several foreign countries and taking part in the trade and business summits.
