Uttar Pradesh to attract Rs 10 lakh cr investment: BJP manifesto

New Delhi, Feb 9 (KNN) The BJP has released its manifesto for Uttar Pradesh assembly poll in which it has promised to attract an investment of Rs 10 lakh crore in the next five years.

It has also guaranteed the establishment of mega leather park in Kanpur generating 2 lakh jobs apart from all the self-employment opportunities.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and State Unit Chief Swatantra Dev Singh launched the manifesto.

Development of six ‘Mega Food Parks’ is also mentioned and Rs 25,000-crore ‘Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel Agri-infrastructure Mission’ to set up grading units, cold chain chambers.

With regards to agriculture, farmers will get free electricity connection in the next five years, the manifesto assures. 

The party has also promised Rs 5000 crore to be spent on modernisation of sugarcane mills. (KNN Bureau)
