The summit will be conducted for three days, with one day reserved for the MSME sector. The Uttar Pradesh government will be organising road shows in countries like UK, USA, Canada, UAE, Sweden etc., to help the event gain more recognition.

Adityanath gave special instructions to the concerned departments that the MoU in the Global Investors Summit should be done at the state level for an investment of more than Rs 50 crore. For investment proposals of less than this amount, the MoU should be done at the district level. A web portal should be created for continuous monitoring and smooth implementation of this work.

In February 2018, the Prime Minister launched the First Investor Summit of Uttar Pradesh in Lucknow. The state at that time received investment proposals worth Rs 4.68 lakh crore.

Uttar Pradesh is also working on formulating a new industrial policy according to the needs of the food processing, handloom, power loom, IT, biofuel, film and media, tourism, solar energy, electric vehicles, animation, visual effects, gaming and comic industry, toy manufacturing, civil aviation, housing and real estate sectors, among others. (KNN Bureau)
