Uttarakhand CM invites investors from Singapore for Investors Summit-2018

New Delhi, Sept 6 (KNN) Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat invited potential investors from Singapore to attend ‘Destination Uttarakhand: Investors Summit 2018’, slated to be held in Dehradun on October 7-8.

Chief Minister led the delegation to the Invest North Summit2018 organized in Singapore by the High Commission of India in collaboration with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).

In his address, Rawat highlighted the initiatives of the Government of Uttarakhand to promote an investor friendly environment in the Northern State.

He said, “We are pleased to attend the Invest North Summit 2018 and receive an encouraging response from the business community in Singapore.”

Uttarakhand is a young State with robust opportunities across various sectors. Our MSME Policy 2015, Single Window Clearance System and The Mega Industrial and Investment Policy 2015, among other initiatives, provide a roadmap to boost the industrial climate and act as a facilitator of commerce for the investors,” he added.

The delegation from Uttarakhand also held meetings with various organizations to highlight the growth opportunities in the State.

The Invest North Summit 2018 in Singapore showcased the potential projects and sectoral opportunities for investment in the Indian States of Uttarakhand, Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. T

The Uttarakhand delegation comprised industrial advisor to the CM, KS Panwar, additional chief secretary Om Prakash, Finance secretary Amit Singh Negi Information Technology Development Agency (ITDA) Director Amit Kumar Sinha and Smart City, Dehradun CEO Shailesh Bagauli.
