CM Dhami Sets Feb 15 Deadline For Grounding Of Proposals Received At Global Investors Summit
Dehradun, Dec 20 (KNN) Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has directed the senior government officials to complete the grounding of as many proposals as possible by February 15, 2023.
He reviewed the MoUs signed at the Uttarakhand Global Investors Summit and took suggestions from senior government officials.
Every week, the Chief Secretary and every month, the Chief Minister himself will review the grounding of the proposals thoroughly.
his month, the state government has signed 1,779 MoUs worth Rs 3.56 lakh crore related to various departments at the investors summit, including 157 MoUs worth Rs 1.03 lakh crore in the energy sector, 658 MoUs worth Rs 78 thousand crore related to the industry department, 437 MoUs worth Rs 47,646 crore in the field of tourism.
These also include 175 agreements worth Rs 19,260 crore in the field of horticulture and food processing, 62 agreements worth Rs 41,947 crore in the field of housing and urban development, 39 agreements worth Rs 25,785 crore in the field of health and environment, and 77 pacts worth Rs 17,058 crore in the field of AYUSH and wellness.
To facilitate the investments in the state, the government has made a lot of efforts. Uttarakhand Society for Promotion of Investment, Startup and Entrepreneurship (UK-SPISE) is being formed for the convenience of investors in the state. The Chief Minister also asked to prepare an effective action plan towards providing better markets for local products.
