Bengaluru, Aug 22 (KNN) Karnataka Small Scale Industries Association (KASSIA) has unanimously elected K.N. Narasimha Murthy as its new President for 2022-23, at its annual general meeting held on Sunday.

He is a veteran exporter and has won many accolades throughout his career as a successful entrepreneur.

Murthy is the promoter of Fluid Air Systems which exports air pollution control equipment and material handling equipment and are the preferred choice of many developed and developing countries in Asia and Europe, said a press release.

Chartered Accountant Shashidhara Shetty has been elected as the Vice President and B. Praveen, General Secretary; Sriprakasha, Treasurer; S Venkatesan, Jt. Secretary (Urban) and Bhimashankar B Patil, Jt. Secretary (Rural) are other office bearers appointed for one year.

The new chief of KASSIA is also involved in several other industry, charitable and social welfare organizations as a social activist and philanthropist.  (KNN Bureau)
