Vibrant Gujarat will help build strong business relations with other countries: FGI

Gandhinagar, Jan 02 (KNN) The Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit will held in Gandhinagar from January 10-13,  2017 in which representatives of more than 80 countries will be participating, Gujarat Revenue Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama recently said.

‘Vibrant Gujarat Global Trade Show’ will be a five day event which will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 9.

While talking to KNN, Federation of Gujarat Industries (FGI) said that the summit will help in making links with other countries and connections will boost business relations.

“Such summit with so many countries participating is crucial in building business relations and also leads to meet the demands and requirements of each other, said SR Dighe, Deputy Secretary, FGI.

As per the Gujarat Revenue Minister, there would be 1,500 representatives from eighty countries participating in the trade show which will be inaugurated by PM Modi on January 9. He also said that the show will have two parts on January 10 and 11, there will be business seminars, and on January 12 and 13, the exhibition will be open for visitors.

Revenue Minister Chudasama told reporters that Presidents of Kenya and Rawanda, Prime Ministers of Portugal and Serbia, deputy Prime Ministers of Russia and Poland, and ministers of Sweden and Japan are also likely to be here to participate at the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit.

“The pavilions at the trade show, to be held at the exhibition ground here, will have industries from various sectors like automobiles, agro and food, aerospace and defence, energy and petrochemicals, environment, health care, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, among others,” said Chudasama during the announcement, according to reports.

He said trade show will focus on international organizations, women entrepreneurs, MSME and start-ups. “We have offered discount between 50 and 90 per cent to women entrepreneurs, start-ups and MSMEs. In all, around 1,500 entities will participate,” he said, adding, around 15-20 lakh people are expected to visit the trade show.

Having successfully organized seven constructive summits, Government of Gujarat is organizing the 8th edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit from the 10th to 13th of January 2017 at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar. (KNN/RAS)
