Jaipur, Jul 7 (KNN) The Rajasthan Government has announced a scheme for enrolling institutions and agencies to work as Vocational Training Providers (VTPs) to impart training in different fields like automotive repair, agriculture, allied health care, construction and electronics etc.

The VTPs will provide service also in garment making, jewellery, leather, sports goods, plastic processing, medical, refrigeration, fabrication, production, paint and renewable energy.

The project is being executed under the Skill Development Scheme of the Central Government to empower all individuals through improved skills, knowledge, nationally and internationally recognized qualifications to gain access to decent employment and ensure India’s competitiveness in the global market.

In this regard, the Rajasthan Skill Development Initiative Society (RSDIS) is inviting bids from institutions or agencies with appropriate infrastructure and trainers to be VTPs for the proposed project in the state.

The National Skill Development Initiative has an objective to develop a high-quality skilled workforce/entrepreneur relevant to current and emerging employment market needs.
