Vyapar 2022 generates Rs 106 cr deals for Kerala MSMEs

Kochi, June 20 (KNN) The Vyapar 2022, a B2B meet hosted by Kerala government has generated business deals worth Rs 105 crore in the MSME sector.

The event was held from June 16 to 19 and was organised in the city by Kerala Department of Industries and Commerce.

A total of 330 buyers have settled pacts with 324 sellers from across the country.

The organisers have said that several virtual meets will be held this week as a follow up of the event.

With its key aim to revive the MSME units hit due to the pandemic, the meet had focused on seven key economic sectors.

Food-processing and Ayurveda, followed by handlooms and textiles had accounted for the most number of business deals.

The event at JLN International Stadium Ground featured 331 stalls, which were open to the general public on the concluding day.  (KNN Bureau)
