WB Govt keen to bridge the skill gap in MSME sector

Kolkata, Dec 24 (KNN) In order to bridge the skill gap in the MSME sector, West Bengal Government is planning to help the small entrepreneurs by offering them skilled workmen as per their requirements.
 
“Department of MSME, Government of West Bengal is interested to help MSMEs by offering trained skilled workmen as per the requirement of the industries,” Federation of Small & Medium Industries (FOSMI) said.
 
The industry body has asked the MSMEs to come up with their skill wise manpower requirement to know the areas of skill shortage.
 
FOSMI said the proposal is under planning stage. (KNN Bureau)
