We are incurring unaccountable loss, have asked labours to leave: Rohtak Industries

Rohtak/ Chandigarh, Feb 20 (KNN) The situation in the curfew hit Rohtak city is worsening day by day due to Jat agitation. The industries in and around city are completely closed down incurring heavy loss per day.

Talking to KNN, President of Fasteners Manufacturers Association (FMA), Rajender Bansal, said that "We are incurring unaccountable loss and the Government is not able to handle the situation."

He said that Curfew has been imposed in the citt and the industries are shut.

The mob has set fire in 8-10 shops in the city, he added.

Military has been called in the city after the failure of local forces and police, he informed.

When asked about the workers of the industries, he said, "We have asked them yesterday to get out of the city and reach some safer place."

There is shoot at sight order but police and forces are not following it, he added.

However, Haryana Chief Minister ML Khattar has made a fresh appeal to the people to maintain peace and harmony.

“I appeal to all my fellow Haryanvis to maintain law & order in the State, and ensure that harmony is maintained in society,” he tweeted.

The major intersections and roads in Gurgaon were also blocked on Saturday morning throwing the traffic out of gear in the city. The major roads and intersections blocked were Sohna Road, Basai Chowk, Daultabad flyover, Atul Kataria Chowk, Bajghera and Subhash Chowk. However, with most of the schools and offices being closed on account of weekend, there was little traffic on the roads. (KNN Bureau).
