Kolkata, Sept 15 (KNN) West Bengal government has earmarked a dedicated Whatsapp number to receive suggestions and grievances from industry and share relevant information. 

Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee had directed the ICE Department to allocate a dedicated Whatsapp number to support the MSMEs. 

It was decided during a recently held meeting by Industrial Promotion Board of Government of West Bengal which was chaired by CM Banerjee. 

Accordingly, Whatsapp Number -9062037777 has been earmarked and developed for this purpose. 

The facility was inaugurated by the CM which has a 24x7, auto-response enabled grievance redressal mechanism feature.

It is managed by a dedicated team at the Department of Industry, Commerce and Enterprises and has separate log-in IDs for government departments.

Queries will be redirected to the relevant department and concerned department will assess and address the grievances/queries, provide feedback and support to the complaint directly over Whatsapp.

All the queries /issues and grievances will be compiled and reported periodically to the Industrial Promotion Board.   (KNN Bureau)
