West Bengal to get IT parks soon

Kolkata, Dec 7 (KNN) The proposed information technology parks in West Bengal is likely to be completed by the end 2014, a report said.
The work for proposed 13 IT parks has begun, said the state IT and electronics department.
“Among other places, work for the IT park at Durgapur is in advance stages,” the official said on the side-lines of an annual IT conference – Infocom 2013 here.
The parks would be state-of-the art international standard with adequate physical and social infrastructural facilities and open space.
It is proposed that the core infrastructure would comprise of built up space with surrounding infrastructure like training centre, health care facility, bank and food court. (KNN/Bureau)
