Kolkata, Jan 17 (KNN) Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Eastern Region is organizing the 8th edition of Industrial Relations (IR) Conclave 2023 on January 18, in Kolkata focusing on the ongoing changes including the evolution in the workforce industry, people management and digitization in the workforce.

Moloy Ghatak, Minister-in-Charge, Department of Labour & ESIC, Law and Judicial, Government of West Bengal will be addressing the conclave followed by Barun Kumar Ray, IAS, Principal Secretary, Labour Department and various other government officials.

The flagship initiative is an endeavour to culminate eminent leaders, policy makers and IR professionals across the industries and curate engaging sessions featuring visionary ideas, best practices, cutting-edge insights and industry experiences in the field of industrial relations.

The Conclave will hold discussions on understanding towards the implementation of the labour codes, interaction with the policy makers, etc. with a view to understand the influence of these developments on business and explore the need for operations excellence.

It will also explore new strategies and a pool of next-gen leaders to sustain high growth in the present changing working environment.

It would deliberate on various session topics such as CEOs Session: The New Abnormal; India’s New Labour Codes: An Understanding Towards its Implementation; Industry – Trade Union Dialogue Session: Collaborating in the new normal and Panel Discussion on Diversity and Inclusion.  (KNN Bureau)
