Kolkata, Dec 20 (KNN) Federation of Small & Medium Industries, West Bengal (FOSMI) will host a Conclave on Quality, Research and Workshop on Project Management on January 9, 2023 at Techno India University Campus in Kolkata.

It was decided during the 10th FOSMI Advisory Board Meeting that a Conclave has been planned under the leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Goutam Sengupta, Vice Chancellor, Techno India University,Anchor West Bengal, and Advisor to FOSMI Advisory Board.

The Techno India University, West Bengal will arrange the Conclave in collaboration with QCFI HQ, FOSMI and CRIMM (Centre for Research in Materials Management).

It will focus on possible tie up of FOSMI, Techno India University & CRIMM under Industry Academia collaboration for innovative research products of the University and available support system for adoption and marketing of such innovative products.

The conclave will also focus on how academia can collaborate with industry for furthering the advancement of research and its application to industry.

There will be deliberation and presentations of QCFI under the concept One Lakh MSME in respect to quality enrichment among MSMEs and the supportive role of QCFI towards quality awareness among industries under the concept would be the special highlight of QCFI.

Participation fee is Rs 1,000/- per participant and FOSMI members have to register their name with FOSMI by January 2, 2023.
