China produces many goods that can be of use to Indian companies and India has many local goods which Chinese would be interested in buying, said Tong Guili, Member of Hangzhou CPC Standing Committee.

Guili was in India to attend a conference on Business Promotion for China (Hangzhou) Cross-Border E-Commerce Comprehensive Pilot Area.

In an interview to KNN India, Guili, who is also the Party Secretary of Hangzhou Chengxi Science and Technological Innovations Park, said in the era of internet there is a better possibility of exploring the markets of India and China.

She said the Chinese government and the Hangzhou CPC Standing Committee would extend support to the Indian investors willing to set up their businesses in China.

On Boosting business ties between the two countries, Guili emphasized that China has a huge market and the high end handicraft items and locally produced goods would sell well in the country.

For this, she said, MSMEs can leverage the online platforms to import and export their goods.

Being near to Shanghai, Hangzhou has a good connectivity with the ports which makes it even more convenient for investors to do business, she insisted. (Watch Full Video)
