New Delhi, Dec 26 (KNN) Amidst global slowdown, the steel re-roller industries, which are mainly the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) worry about adopting any new initiative which would put more financial burden on them.

The All India Steel Re Rollers Association (AISRRA) expressed concern that Punjab Pollution Control Board (PPCB) has asked them to shift from coal to Piped Natural Gas (PNG) for their operation which will increase their production cost and will also force them to replace the existing infrastructure.

To get more insights of the same, KNN India spoke to Balbir Chandra Verma, a representative from All India Steel Re Rollers Association (AISRRA) who said that the government should have come up with policy for the same.
