Minister of State (Independent Charge), for Commerce & Industry Nirmala Sitharaman, today launched the Twitter Sewa for redressal of queries/grievances/suggestions etc. ‘Twitter Sewa’ is expected to work as a source of direct point of contact for entrepreneurs seeking funding, support or government assistance of any kind. Initially, the queries sent on ‘Twitter Sewa’ will be monitored by top officials of the Ministry of Commerce. The officers will connect entrepreneurs to various stakeholders such as venture capitalists, incubation centres, and will look after issues with government clearances. Secretary, Department of Commerce and Secretary, DIPP were also present at the event.
