IPOs of 225 companies are listed with BSE SME

Mumbai, Feb 15 (KNN) As many as 225 companies are listed with the BSE SME exchange and the total amount raised by them so far is Rs 1,833.96 crore.

Six companies have listed their IPOs with the exchange this month itself.

The two more firms to join the bourse are Bangalore based Focus Suites Solutions & Services Limited and Delhi based Lorenzini Apparels Limited.

 

The market capitalization of 225 companies listed on BSE SME till date is Rs 23,204.05 crore.

Meanwhile, in an interview to PTI, BSE SME Head Ajay Thakur, said, “The IPO pipeline is good, which shows the confidence among the companies. We are expecting around 100 SME IPOs in 2018.”

BSE Chairman S Ravi has recently said that work on deepening the SME market is on. SMEs are also the focus of this government and banks too are interested in this space, so the growth is expected. With banks showing interest and confidence, institution or institutional participation will follow, he had said.

It is also the track record of listed SME companies that will promote institutional participation. We are targeting more SMEs to list as the public perception is also changing, he added. (KNN Bureau)
