New Delhi, Nov 3 (KNN) Dr. Ajay Chhibber has been appointed as the Chief Economic Advisor of The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI).

He will supervise economic policy research at FICCI.

He is presently a visiting scholar of Elliot School of International Affairs, Washington DC and distinguished Professor, National Institute for Public Finance and Policy, New Delhi.

He has a PhD from Stanford University, USA and has attended Advanced Management Programme at Harvard (USA) and INSEAD (Paris).

Dr Chibber has worked with World Bank from 1983 till 2008. He was also Director General, Independent Evaluation Office, Government of India. (KNN/AG)
