New Delhi, Sept 5 (KNN) Addressing a gathering of leaders at the BRICS Emerging Markets and Developing Countries Dialogue, earlier today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi asserted that the summit must adopt Agenda 2030, with focus on greater cooperation in the field of information and technology in order to achieve economic growth.

The Prime Minister also emphasized upon the need to bring in mechanisms that could facilitate free trade of goods, persons and services along international borders in order to realise the larger sustainable development goals and agenda 2030

PM Modi asserted that it is essential to move towards and inclusive development and India is working with its flagship motto of Sabka Sath Sabka Vikaas.

He further said that through greater cooperation among the BRIC nations, the countries can work on ways to create banking and financial inclusions of different stakeholders of the respective economies.

Also the member nations must explore the potential of providing appropriate skills to the youth in order to enhance efficiency and move towards a skilled economy.  

PM Modi further said that the BRICS nations must focus on moving towards a more digital world and figure out ways to reduce the digital divide both within the nations and also among the nations. (KNN/ DA)
