Venkaiah Naidu, Kalraj Mishra launch MyMSME Mobile App and MSEFC portal

GST council has taken cognizance of the demand of MSMEs regarding the new tax policy: Venkaiah Naidu to KNN

New Delhi, Apr 27 (KNN) Union Minister for Urban Development, Housing & Urban Poverty Alleviation, Information & Broadcasting Venkaiah Naidu launched the MyMSME Mobile app and Micro and Small Facilitation Council (MSEFC) portal in the national capital today.

The app and the portal were launched in the presence of Union MSME Minister Kalraj Mishra, MoS MSME Haribhai Parthibhai Chaudhary and other senior officials from the Ministry.

Today the 15th Meet of National Board of MSME is being held to discuss key issues related to the sector and discuss on way forward.

While addressing the event, Mishra highlighted the contribution of the sector towards country’s economy and pointed that this year there has been a maximum budget provision for the Ministry of MSME in the Union Budget.

The Ministry of MSME has developed the mobile app –MyMSME through which the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) can easily get to know about the various schemes of the Ministry and use digital platform to avail benefit under the schemes.

The MyMSME app has different sections like Udyog Aadhaar, ZED, Design Clinic, Lean Manufacturing, Credit Subsidy etc.

Micro & Small Enterprise Facilitation Council was formed under the Micro Small and Medium Development Act 2006 (MSMED Act)  and is an important tools to expedite the issues of the delayed payments by the buyers. The buyers may be in private sector or PSU or Government Departments, it applies equally to all.

To expedite payments of vendors stuck with state-run enterprises, the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Ministry has told suppliers to approach its Facilitation Council to get their grievances redressed.

MSME unit can approach Micro and Small Enterprise Facilitation Council (MSEFC) in their State to redress their delayed payment grievance.

Every reference made to the MSEFC has to be decided within a period of 90 days from the date of making the reference. (KNN Bureau)
