In the first leg of the collaboration, EEPC India along with the NID organised a design and innovation workshop at Faridabad, the hub of small and medium sized industries.

Commenting on the latest development, Bhaskar Sarkar, Executive Director and Secretary of EEPC said that the main focus of the initiative is to spread design awareness at the cluster level and apprise the MSME units about different government schemes and incentives available for improving the product competitiveness of the engineering exports.

He further said that in the recent times, to survive the global competition, it is important to focus on design.

“The design plays a key role towards value-addition and helps bring business to the exporters:, he said.
