New Delhi, July 22 (KNN) Aiming at addressing the gap between the job seeker and the vacant positions available in the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), the Andhra Pradesh Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) has come up with ‘Udyogaratham’- a high tech employment van.

The high tech van is launched in collaboration with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL) and TMI Network.

Udyogaratham will help job seekers connect to the MSMEs that have vacant positions in the region.

Chairman of TMI group, T. Muralidharan, in a press interview said that the van will facilitate on both the ends. On one hands the industry will be able to find the appropriate talent for the job opening and on the other hand the fresh pass outs will be able to secure a job.

He further added that in most of the cases young graduates try to seek jobs with big industries and corporates and not the MSMEs. A lot of this happens because they aren’t aware of the job openings in the micro and small industries.  The high-tech van equipped with LCD TV and e-kiosks will provide the employment information to the youth of Vishakhapatnam and adjoining regions.

Also the van executives will visit the MSMEs in the region on a regular basis to keep the vacancy database up to date. (KNN/ DA)
