Bihar Govt running ‘Bano Udyami’ campaign to encourage youth start won businesses

Patna, Jan 16 (KNN) Bihar Government is running a state-wide campaign called ‘ Bano Udyami’ to sensitise students about entrepreneurship and encourage them to start their own businesses.
The campaign was launched on Monday and was initiated by the industries department.
It will cover five big high schools and colleges every month at block, sub-division and district headquarters levels to train 5 lakh youths in this calendar year.
During the campaign the students would be told about different entrepreneurship development schemes run by the government, such as the Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP), Stand-up India, Start-up Bihar, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, Chief Minister MSME (Micro, Small, Medium Enterprises) Cluster Development scheme, Bihar Industrial Investment Promotion Policy, 2016 and Bihar Startup Policy.
Officials led by the general manager of district industries centre (DIC) will tell the youth about the features of the schemes and how to avail them.
The Bano Udyami campaign has been launched in all 38 districts in order to motivate youths become job givers rather than jobseekers.
