Lucknow, May 9 (KNN) The Indian Industries Association (IIA), an apex body for MSMEs in Uttar Pradesh, is organizing a Defence Corridor Programme here today with Senior officials from government, Indian army and Defence PSUs.

Union Minister of State, Ministry of Defence, Dr. Subhash Ramrao Bhamre will be the Chief Guest and Minister of Industrial Development Government of Uttar Pradesh Satish Mahana will preside over the programme.

During the event, interactive session will be held for the MSMEs to help them explore business opportunities in the defence sector.

Senior Officers from Department of Defence Production, Department of Industrial Development along with officers from Indian Army, Navy and all Defence Production Public Sector Undertakings will be present in the programme.

About 150 potential entrepreneurs willing to setup Defence Production Unit in the state have registered for the programme.  (KNN Bureau)
