CMIA organizing Technology Meet in Aurangabad on Nov 18-19 to help MSMEs link with R&D Institutes

Aurangabad, Nov 17 (KNN) The Chamber of Marathwada Industries And Agriculture (CMIA) jointly with Marathwada Auto Cluster (MAC) is organizing ‘Technology Meet 2016’ here on November 18-19 in order to help MSMEs interact with the R&D institutions.

CMIA aims to create a platform for R&D institutes, Government Departments and industry to help develop Ecosystem for world class products and technologies with Government support.

CMIA said, “Aurangabad is poised for next level exponential growth similar to Nineties decade. MSME sector is dreaming for transition from service companies to product companies. The only bottleneck is developing products and technologies in short span with limited resources.”

It said the big R&D institutions, which were working in isolation, are aligning with industry to cater to their needs of technology development.

Also, the Central Government has taken initiatives to help these R&D institutes network with the industry to develop world class products by using available resources.

Government is ready to support by way of funding technology development, CMIA added.

The event is being organized by CMIA in association with Department of Heavy Industries-DHI,Ministry of Commerce-EEPC and Research Institutes like ARAI,BARC,IIT Bombay. Shri Guru Gobind Singhji Institute of Engineering & Technology (SGGS), Nanded and Marathwada Association of Small Scale Industries & Agriculture(MASSIA).

Various R&D institutes will also be present at the Technology Meet and will display their Technologies during this programme. Also, they will be available for one to one interactions. (KNN Bureau)
