New Delhi, Aug 30 (KNN) Facilitating speedy disposal of pending cases, Delhi State Legal Services Authority (DSLSA) is organizing National Lok Adalat in the High Court of Delhi and all District Courts in Delhi.

The Lok Adalat will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2017.

Matters such as Labour Disputes, Service Matters, Electricity and Water Disputes, Mercantile Law –Pending and Pre-Litigative Matters, Criminal Matters including Dishonour of Cheques, trials and appeals etc will be taken up in the Lok Adalat.

The ones who want their matters to be taken up can contact Legal Assistance Establishment ‘Nyay Sahyog’, concerned court or DLSA Office.

Under the Labour Disputes and Service Matters – matters such as Dismissal, Retrenchment, Lay Off Cases; Reinstatement/ compensation matters for wrongful dismissal; Compensation for injuries or death during the course of employment under  the Workmen Compensation Act; Matters pertaining to ESI, PF, Payment of Gratuity, Retirement Benefit, Medical Facilities will be taken up.

Under Mercantile Law – Pending and Pre- Litigative matters (All Nationalized and Private Banks) – matters including Industrial, Commercial, Personal  Educational Loan, Home, Auto Loan Matters; Credit/ Debit Card Matters; Recovery matters including SARFAESI Act.

Under Revenue Matters – matters pending in District Courts and High Courts only will be taken up in the Lok Adalat.

DSLSA said settlement of disputes through Lok Adalat ensures speedy disposal, amicable settle and refund of court fee paid. (KNN Bureau)
