CAIT to tell Singapore he Great Merchant Digitalization story of Indian traders & SMEs

New Delhi, Nov 5 (KNN) Singapore wants to showcase the Great Merchant Digitalisation Story of India during its Singapore Fintech Festival to be held in November. For this, Praveen Khandelwal, Secretary General of the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) will speak on Indian merchants and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) adopted digitization.

CAIT said Khandelwal, will represent India and its 7 crore traders at Singapore Fintech Festival which is an annual week-long celebration of Fintech companies across globe and the largest event of its kind over the world which will be attended by about 57 thousand persons from more than 100 Countries.

This year the Singapore Fintech Festival will be held from November 11-15, 2019 at Singapore.

The Monetary Authority of Singapore, an arm of the Singapore Government which holds the festival has invited Khandelwal as a 'keynote speaker" from India.

He will be speaking on Great Merchant Digitalization Story in context of India. About 35 prominent trade leaders of different States of the Country are also going with Khandelwal to attend the festival.

Beside a key note speaker, Khandelwal will also participate as a panelist in several other panel discussions pertaining to digitalisation, financial inclusion and technology empowerment which will be held during the finch festival.

The festival is expected to be attended by several Heads of States, International Monetary Fund, World Bank, World Trade Organisation, large number of finch companies across the World, global CEO's of several Multinational Companies, Bankers, Economists, fintech experts and large number of delegates include start-ups, investors, financial institutions, technology companies, academicians and public sector officials investors, industry professionals  from more than 100 Countries of the World.

A Singapore Week for Innovation and Technology, a Global Investor Summit and SMEs Conference will also be held during the festival. Over 38 international pavilions showcasing innovative solutions from different countries have been set up.

Khandelwal said that during his keynote speech he will highlight digitalisation of Indian SMEs and will also talk about contribution of Indian SMEs and traders in Indian economy.

He will also showcase the level of progress the country has made in up gradation and modernization of trade in last five years, simplification of tax structure, easy access to finance for business community and ongoing process of digitalising 70 million traders of the country which is in a mission mode of CAIT.
