Piyush Goyal to Lead High-Level Business Delegation to Spain, Belgium, and Finland

New Delhi, Jul 13 (KNN) Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal will lead a high-level Indian business delegation to Spain, Belgium and Finland from July 13 to 17 to strengthen trade, investment and technology cooperation with European partners.

The delegation includes representatives from sectors such as advanced manufacturing, clean energy, digital technologies, healthcare, food processing and gems and jewellery.

In Spain, Goyal will hold bilateral meetings with senior ministers, chair the India-Spain Business Roundtable, and participate in discussions with the Chamber of Commerce of Spain, CEOE and ICEX Spain Trade & Investment to promote business partnerships and investment opportunities.

In Belgium, he will visit the Port of Antwerp and the Antwerp World Diamond Centre, hold meetings with Thales Group and Silox Group executives, participate in the India-Belgium Business Roundtable, and co-chair the 3rd India-EU Trade and Technology Council (TTC) Ministerial Meeting. He is also scheduled to meet senior European Union and Belgian leaders.

In Finland, Goyal will meet Finland's Minister of Economic Affairs, participate in the India-Finland Business Roundtable, witness the signing of an MoU between CII and Business Finland, and visit Nokia Corporation, VTT Research Centre, KONE Corporation and Kemppi Group to explore collaboration in telecommunications, research, advanced manufacturing and clean technologies.

The visit aims to strengthen India's economic engagement with Europe by promoting trade, investment, technology collaboration and business partnerships.
