KASSIA Panel chairman for Export Promotion and Overseas Exhibition CS Kattishetti said they were particularly eager to know the host companies’ response to the session on Make in India that would be addressed by the prime minister at the fair.
Hannover Messe 2015 will showcase Modi's ‘Make in India’ initiative to promote the country as a manufacturing hub among global investors. India is also the partner country at the fair.
The event comprises 10 flagship fairs including industrial automation, digital factory, energy, Mobili Tec, wind, motion drive and automation, industrial supply, ComVac, Surface technology and research and technology.
Garments and textile products, chemical items, leather and leather goods, iron, steel and metal goods, electronic components, pharmaceutical products, and auto components are major items of exports from India to Germany.
The key German exports to India include electrical generation equipment, auto equipment, complete fabrication plants, bearings, gear equipment, measurement and control equipment and primary chemical products. (KNN/ST)
