Adani Green Energy Arm Partners With UAE’s Minerva For Renewable Projects In India
New Delhi, Apr 9 (KNN) Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL) on Thursday announced that its subsidiary, Adani Renewable Energy Middle East Ltd, has signed a joint venture agreement with Minerva Holding RSC to develop renewable energy projects in India.
The partnership will focus on the development, construction and operation of clean energy assets, according to a regulatory filing, PTI reported.
Backed by UAE-Based Energy Platform
The joint venture involves EPointZero Holding RSC Ltd, the energy and infrastructure platform of International Holding Company PJSC. Minerva Holding is a wholly owned subsidiary of EPointZero.
IHC Group is among the largest listed companies in the UAE, with a market capitalisation exceeding USD 230 billion.
Stakeholding and Governance Structure
As part of the agreement, AGEL UAE will acquire up to a 20 per cent stake in the joint venture entity, Minerva Renewables Holding RSC.
Under the governance framework, Minerva will have the right to appoint up to four directors on the board, while Adani Green Energy will nominate one director.
Focus on India’s Renewable Push
The collaboration aligns with India’s ongoing push to expand renewable energy capacity and attract global investment into the sector, with partnerships such as this expected to support project development and financing.
