Australian business delegation to visit India, explore collaboration in agribusiness-innovation

New Delhi, Aug 25 (KNN) Eyeing at strengthening collaboration in various sectors between the two countries, a business delegation from Australia will be visiting India early next week.

The main focus of the visit would be to explore possibilities of collaboration in different sectors including agro-business, food, education, research and infrastructure. Also the service sector would be of focus during the meet.

The delegation visit will be in the form of the Australia Business week in India (ABWI) organized by the Australian Trade and Investment Commission and will take place from August 28th to September 1st.

The delegation is likely to visit multiple cities in the country including New Delhi, Mumbai Bhopal, Kolkata, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.

Leonie Muldoon, Senior Trade and Investment Commissioner - South Asia, in a press statement said that the visit is likely to strengthen the trade relations between the two countries. Also a one on one interaction between the business leaders of the two countries will help both stakeholders have a better understanding of the different opportunities possible.

The Australia Business Week in India is a follow up event of the inaugural event held in 2015, that laid foundation of a better trajectory of business relations between India and Australia. (KNN/ DA)
