Chinese vice president meets PM Modi

New Delhi, Nov 7 (KNN) Vice President of the People's Republic of China, Li Yuanchao met Prime Minister India's Narendra Modi in the capital city on Friday.

The prime minister said that there is tremendous potential for India and China to grow their economic and developmental partnership. He highlighted opportunities in railways, smart cities, infrastructure and urban transport for cooperation between India and China.

Modi also welcomed the increased level of investments from China to India and expressed hope that the growth in the number of Chinese tourists visiting India will continue. He said that the ancient cultural ties between India and China are a catalyst for growth of stronger people to people relations.

Both leaders agreed that peaceful, cooperative and stable relations between India and China are vital for regional and global peace and prosperity. (KNN Bureau)
