New Delhi, Oct 20 (KNN)  Stakeholders in a startup ecosystem, including entrepreneurs, business leaders and investors among others will be in Delhi and Bengaluru during the next week to deliberate upon how they could take the innovation ecosystem to the next level.

While the Delhi edition of the conference will be held here on October-27, the Bengaluru conference will be held on October-29.

Startup Capitals is a thought-leadership conference that celebrates the innovation / startup ecosystem of cities that are making a mark on the world map.

The event brings together all the stakeholders in a startup ecosystem, including entrepreneurs, business leaders, innovators, researchers and educational specialists, government leaders and venture capitalists, under one roof who champion innovation and who are passionate about taking their innovation ecosystem to the next level.

Delhi and its satellite cities (part of the National Capital Region) are becoming hothouses for startups.   According to official data, Delhi leads the startup scene in India right after Bengaluru (in terms of number of startups and investors).  According to AngelList, Delhi is home to more than 1500 startups of which many have managed to get seed funding and followup Series A rounds.

Further, according to US based startup ecosystem evaluator Compass, Bengaluru ranks 15th in its latest ranking of ecosystems – up four places from their last global ecosystem ranking in 2012.  With USD 2.25 billion in funding last year, Bengaluru now ranks 6th among startup ecosystems for access to venture capital.

This uniquely curated programme offers a chance to hear and interact with the thought-leaders and entrepreneurs who are leading the change in the world and who are committed to making the world a better place.

On the sidelines of the conference, the chosen city’s most innovative ideas and startups are showcased.

Besides the conference series, Startup Capitals also aims to be a content showcase of the success stories across the world.

Startup Capitals is a jointly owned property of two Singapore-based entities - Business Excellence and Research Group Pte Ltd (BERG) and Kitaab International Pte Ltd.  (KNN Bureau)
