New Delhi, Jun 5 (KNN)  World Bank's projects around the world, its beneficiaries, their contract  details and more are now available on your iPhone or iPad and can be freely downloaded from the World Bank Finances website.

“The App provides an up-to-date financial snapshot of the World Bank's activities around the globe and in the community.  You can now navigate seamlessly through maps and list views to explore the details of a country’s donor and/or beneficiary portfolios – including financial instruments, World Bank’s contracts/procurement in that country, and project information and locations,” said a World Bank report.

The free App, a part of World Bank's open data initiative provides the entire Bank’s updated financial information in an interactive, use-friendly and attractive format.

It is offered in several languages, including Hindi, and welcomes feedback, concerns and suggestions.

Users of the App can navigate with ease through the activities of the organisation, view maps and learn about beneficiaries. 

Further, it boasts fully integrated connections to social media networks such as Facebook and Twitter, email, etc., that would allow easy sharing. 

Best of all, the APP provides useful insights and answers to questions about the World Bank's work both on and off line.  (KNN)
