DGFT on Indo-Myanmar Border Trade

New Delhi, Dec 18 (KNN) The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) today said since the trade across the Indo-Myanmar Border at Moreh in Manipur is transitioned to normal now, all the public notices on border trade at Indo-Myanmar border have been withdrawn.

“With the transition to normal trade across Indo-Myanmar Border at Moreh (Manipur), all the public notices on Indo-Myanmar Border trade are rescinded herewith,” DGFT today said in a notification.

According to the Public Notice No. 30 dated November 16, 2012, DGFT had said, “Existing arrangements for import/export of commodities/items under Indo Myanmar Border have been revised; and 22 new commodities/items have been added to the existing list of 40 tradable items and all the 62 commodities/items consolidated.” (KNN Bureau)
