Envoys of Italy and Slovenia calls upon MSME Minister today

New Delhi, May 18 (KNN) The envoys of Italy and Slovenia met Union Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Kalraj Mishra here today.
 
The Ambassador of Italy to India, Enzo Angeloni and Ambassador of Slovenia to India, Darga Bavdaz-Kuret called on Mishra respectively in two separate meetings.
 
Italy is among India's top five trading partners in the European Union, bilateral trade between them amounting to €8.52 billion in 2011/12.
 
Around 140 Italian companies, including brands such as Fiat, Perfetti, and Piaggio, have invested in India. TCS, Wipro, Larsen & Toubro, and Mahindra & Mahindra are among the Indian companies active in Italy.
 
During the same time, the bilateral trade between India and Slovenia, a member of EU, was at 400 million euro. The trade between the two countries has been growing at a rate of approximately 20 per cent since the last few years. (KNN Bureau)
