EU-India Renewable Energy Mission 2014 offers opportunities in energy & bio-tech

New Delhi, Aug 2 (KNN)  European Business and Technology Centre (EBTC) is organising the EU-India Renewable Energy Mission 2014, a commercial mission of European companies dedicated to the renewable energy sector. While the event will showcase technological expertise of various European companies in the sector, it will also offer domestic units opportunities for collaboration and synergies with the visitors.

Scheduled for September 3-5, the commercial mission will take place in the framework of the 8th Renewable Energy India Expo. The fair provides the ideal opportunity to present the technological expertise of European companies and to explore possibilities of collaboration and synergies with Indian institutions and local companies.

 “The 8th Renewable Energy India 2014 Expo is recognized as Asia’s largest event on renewables. This 3 day international expo comprehensively covers Solar, Wind, Bio-mass/fuel, Small Hydro, Geothermal and Energy Efficiency. The 7th Renewable Energy Expo held in 2013 witnessed 428 exhibitors from 27 different countries and 11,127 trade visitors,” an official release said.

Spread over a space of 25,000 sqm at the state of the art India Expo Centre, Greater Noida facility, this expo series has been successively supported by the Government of India, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) and Ministry of Power (MoP).

The focus sectors of the fair are Solar PV, Solar Thermal, Wind, Bio Fuels, Biomass, Small Hydro, Geothermal and Energy Efficiency.

For the European companies engaged in renewable energy, benefits include - having an institutional stand at the “Renewable Energy India Expo” available for the European companies; participate in the conferences/seminars that will take place during the Renewable Energy India Expo; understand the Indian market and identify business opportunities and research cooperation with local counterparts; showcase your research, technology and solutions; get an overview of Indian private and public sectors renewable energy project opportunities; opportunity to gain insight into various financing sources; participate in high-level networking and information sessions; empower yourself with adequate knowledge about doing business in the Indian renewable energy sector.

EBTC has partnered with ACCIÓ, CEIPIEMONTE and the Indo-Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the commercial mission of European companies dedicated to the renewable energy sector.  (KNN/ES)
