Fadnavis discusses need of more incubators, encouraging start-ups with promoters

Mumbai, July 2 (KNN) Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis who is currently on a visit to the US , on Wednesday, discusses need of more incubators and encouraging start-ups with incubator promoters in San Francisco.
 
“Start-ups are growing at a fast pace in India. It is useful for quality education,job creation, investment, innovation & improving knowledge,” Fadnavis wrote on the micro-blogging site twitter.
 
Sanjay Subhedar, Founding Managing Director of Storm Ventures,Venture Capitalist Prakash Bhalerao & Duncan Davidson of Bullpen Capital were present in the meeting, chief minister’s office (CMO) said in a tweet.
 
Meanwhile, Fadnavis today visited Google Office at San Francisco and met senior leadership with Industry Minister Subhash Desai.
 
CM addressed Invest Maharashtra Roundtable at San Francisco and spoke on technological expertise of State, CMO tweeted adding that he also spoke on States role as a pioneer in the field technology with demographic advantage and human resource.
 
“Our IT policy is offering Power, the existence of IT and Integrated IT Township with a work culture,” he said.
 
More interactions will open up more opportunities for the people to come and invest in Maharashtra, he added. (KNN Bureau)
