Bangalore, Jul 1 (KNN) The Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) and Yes Bank are jointly organising a seminar on Thursday with a view to update the knowledge of exporters and service providers about business prospects in Africa.

“Today, the growth in economic ties between India and West Africa seems dramatic because it started from a very low base; indeed, it is likely to boost in the coming years,” said FIEO.

India and African financial institutions have already signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to promote finance, trade and investment flows.

Seminar on “Doing Business with West Africa” will be held on July 2 at Hotel Chalukya in Bangalore.

An expert from West African market will make a detailed presentation on opportunities and potential in West Africa for Indian exporters. The seminar will also provide clarification on doing business in Africa.

There will also be presentations on related subject by ECGC, Yes Bank and EXIM Bank in the one day event. (KNN Bureau)
