Global IP Convention on innovation and intellectual property to be held in Bengaluru

New Delhi, Nov 1 (KNN) The 11^th edition of Global IP Convention (GIPC) is going to be held in Bengaluru, the city of innovation and technology from January 17-19, 2019 with the theme ‘Industry 4.0 and challenges for IP’.

This is the Asia’s largest convention on ‘innovation and intellectual property’ designed for in-house IP counsels and innovators to interact with IP attorneys from around the world to discuss best practices and solutions to maximize the value of their innovation and IP.

The three day conference on ‘Innovation and Intellectual Property’ will bring together IP experts from various fields of technology including pharma, biotech, automobile, telecom, information technology and artificial intelligence from industry as well as from research organization on a single platform.

GIPC is a platform to introduce, protect and monetize the innovative ideas

GIPC , Director, Dr D.R. Agarwal said that GIPC is a common platform for experts dealing with law, technology and commerce which is necessary for optimization and leveraging of IP assets.

He said “We hope that the awareness program in the field of IPR along with professional opportunities will help further economic growth in the country where innovation is the key word for economic development by transformation.
