Government announces sponsoring of micro and small enterprises to foreign exhibitions

New Delhi, Mar 8 (KNN)  The Office of the Development Commissioner (MSME)  has announced that it would sponsor the participation of micro and small enterprises to certain foreign exhibitions across the world in 2014.
 
“Under the scheme Government will sponsor eligible micro and small enterprises for participation in the above Fairs. The scheme provides for 75 per cent subsidy in air fare and 50 per cent subsidy in stall rent to the sponsored micro and small enterprises,” an official release said.
 
Further, women/SC/ST entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs from North Eastern Region will be reimbursed 100 per cent of space rent and economy class air fare.
 
Assistance will be provided under Market Development Assistance Scheme for the following international fairs.  Interested enterprises should contact the nearest MSME Development Institute for further information.
 
Ø  Hannover Messe 2014, Hannover, Germany during 7th - 11th April, 2014
Ø  78th Art International Handicraft Trade Fair at Florence, Italy from April 24 to May 01, 2014
Ø  National Hardware Show, Las Vegas (USA), May 6-8, 2014
Ø  12th Global Indian Festival 2014, Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) from 4-8 June 2014
Ø  SAITEX 2014 and Africa's Big Seven fair 2014 at Johannesburg (South Africa) from 22-24 June 2014
Ø  World Indian Festival 2014 at Singapore from June 26 - 29, 2014
Ø  35th India Garment Fair and 25th India Home Furnishing Fair, Osaka (Japan) during July 23-25.  (KNN/ES)
