Guj CM interacts with Indian envoys on improving economic and trade relations

Ahmedabad, June 3 (KNN) Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel held a meeting with Indian ambassadors and High Commissioners to five nations and discussed avenues to improve economic and trade relations.

Patel met Indian envoys to Finland, Panama, Botswana, Tanzania and Mongolia.

During the meeting, CM Patel obtained recommendations from them on bolstering economic and commercial relations with these nations and also talked about attracting foreign investment into Gujarat.

She also discussed the possibility of cultural exchange between Gujarat and these nations by sending youth from Gujarat to these countries and vice versa, according to an official statement.

Patel explained about electronic platform ‘Portal’ unveiled under the ‘Indian Mission Facilitation Initiative – Gujarat’ which was developed with the aim that the Indian mission situated abroad can get updates about the pace of development of Gujarat and can also let their suggestions and recommendations known.

Giving details about the ease of doing business in the state and the 1st rank conferred to the state by the World Bank, CM Patel informed about the upcoming Vibrant Gujarat Summit.
