India-Russia Trade & Investment Forum to be held tomorrow

New Delhi, Nov 4 (KNN)  In order to highlight the investment potential and opportunities in various sectors and special economic zones of the Russian Federation, as well as to strengthen ties between small and medium-sized businesses of the two countries, a trade and investment forum will be held here tomorrow.
 
The Forum will focus on opportunities and partnerships in 3 major priority sectors namely, Infrastructure and Modernization, Best Practices in Manufacturing and Innovation, Pharmaceuticals industry and healthcare, according to an official release.
 
Organised by FICCI, in partnership with the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP), Ministry of Commerce and Industry and the Ministry for Economic Development of Russia, the 8th edition of the India Russia Trade and Investment Forum will be held on November-5.
 
While Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation; Head of the Russian party of Russian-Indian Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Cultural Cooperation, Dmitry Rogozin will give the inaugural address, and Minister of State for Commerce and Industry and for Finance and Corporate Affairs, Government of India, Nirmala Sitharaman will deliver the key note address, it said.
 
The event would bring together senior government officials, policymakers and leading business community from both India and Russia.
 
Sessions during the event would be led by prominent speakers from both countries to cover the topics - Opportunities and Partnership in Infrastructure; Opportunities and Best Practices in Manufacturing; and Pharmaceuticals industry and healthcare: Potential for cooperation.  (KNN/ES)
