Indian startups allure European investors at VivaTech 2022
New Delhi, June 22 (KNN) The Indian startups at Vivatech have attracted a lot of interest from European companies and the Indian government welcome investments from these companies, especially French firms, Indian Ambassador to France Jawed Ashraf has said.
Talking to ANI Indian envoy Ashraf said,” A large number of Indian startups showcased their innovation at the conference and a lot of them have been approached by or have started conversations with a large number of companies here.”
“We are collecting all the information from these startups that are present here. The people they have met, the conversations they have had, who they’ve been approached with and what kind of further help they need, whether it is with additional companies or investors or with regulators,” Ashraf added.
India has been announced as the ‘Country of the year’ at Viva Tech 2022.
According to the Economic Survey 2021-22, India is the third-largest startup ecosystem in the world, after the US and China. India has more than 61,400 startups to date.
