New Delhi, Mar 10 (KNN) Both  Indian and foreign passport holders coming to India from abroad have to fill up a separate  ‘Custom Baggage Declaration Form’ as stipulated in the Custom Baggage Declaration Rules  2013.

“So far passengers had to declare their baggage in the Disembarkation Card issued by the immigration authorities, as a tear off slip.  With the introduction of the new form, the declaration made in the Disembarkation Card has been withdrawn,” an official notification said.

As per a government notification, Indian nationals henceforth need not submit the Disembarkation Card.

Like the Disembarkation Card, the new customs form will also be distributed by the airlines to the passengers coming to India. (KNN Bureau)
