International textile fair in Dubai coming soon

New Delhi, Sept 11 (KNN) Bringing together textiles manufacturers and designers from all over the world under one platform, one of the world’s leading centres for textile industry automation the United Arab Emirates is organising its first ever global textile show.
The International Textile Fair is scheduled to be held on November 3 and 4 at the Dubai World trade Centre.
The exhibition will give a further boost to the UAE textile industry which is growing at 9.9 per cent per annum, said a statement.
Manufacturers of clothing and accessories, private labels, garments, retailers and whole sellers, trading companies, agents, designers and buying officers will be participating at the two day event.
The event will feature exhibitors from China, India, Pakistan, Turkey, Indonesia and Italy among others.
It will showcase a range of manufacturing products including different types of fabric for fashion, home and industrial textiles. On display will be various items such as textile raw materials, natural fabrics, synthetic fibres, plant fibres, etc.
The production system will have computer added designs, textile colour cards, professional publications, CDs and samples.
“Accounting for about 5.5 per cent of the world’s annual textile and clothing sales, the UAE has today become the world’s fourth largest trading centre of fashion apparel,” it said. (KNN/ST)
