Jammu MSMEs visit 'World Food' exhibition in Uzbekistan; finalizes several business proposals

Jammu, Mar 22 (KNN) A delegation of Association of Industries (AOI), Gangyal, Jammu comprising of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME) visited the 16th International Exhibition for food industry in Uzbekistan.

The delegation led by S. B. Abrol, General Secretary, AOI, included 12 members from registered MSMEs.

The exhibition ‘World food’, which took place in Uzexpocentre Tashkent, Uzbekistan last week, is professionally managed by the ITE international exhibition company.

The World food in Tashkent is the largest event which features the comprehensive range of equipment, technologies and packaging for the food processing industry.

Traditionally, the exhibition draws food and drink makers of Uzbekistan as a whole providing the exhibitors with an excellent opportunity to show the latest technologies and promote modern competitive equipment in the market, AOI said in a release.

The Exhibition brings together local and international producers and provides them with an invaluable platform to share their products and to develop and increase their business over the past 16 years, the event has proved an effective route to market for many companies and offer a tempting opportunity to meet a large number of targeted visitors in a short time, the release added.

As many as 183 exhibitors from 26 countries displayed their products in the Exhibition.

“Our Member units who were participated in this Event programme interacted with foreign delegates and also discussed the business proposals with them,” said Abrol.

The delegates representing various industries and some of them have finalized business proposals with the International producers, he mentioned. (KNN Bureau)
